U.S. Energy Information Administration International Energy Statistics bulk edition downloaded 28 October 2026. Fixed cohort of the ten largest producers in 2025, followed from 1993; 330 annual observations. Values are annual average crude oil including lease condensate in million barrels per day, not exports or prices. Estimates and history may be revised; transitions between years are interpolated. Ten countries are United States, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Iraq, China, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Brazil and Kuwait. These are a fixed 2025 cohort, not the top ten selected independently in each year. Annual transitions are interpolated; changes in rank occur between observations and are not precisely dated.
The EIA's same-edition 2025 global total is 84.46 million barrels per day and US production is 13.66 million: approximately 16.2% of world production. The US produced 1.38 times Russia's production and 1.43 times Saudi Arabia's. Within the shown cohort, the United States first led in 2018. These are production volumes, not exports or shipping flows.
