US Bureau of Labor Statistics, CPI release of 14 October 2026, Table A. 28 published month-on-month percentage changes, seasonally adjusted, for gasoline (all types), food at home (Groceries), electricity and shelter. These are rates, not price levels, annual inflation or cumulative changes. Four selected categories, not the full consumer basket; do not add them together. Negative rates indicate a monthly decline. This release snapshot may differ from later seasonal revisions. Animation between monthly observations is visual interpolation; it does not establish causes.
